The YottaDrive Edge delivers purpose built and optimized processing, storage and networking to meet the required mission. YottaDrive Edge is capable of handling your most demanding applications. Each YottaDrive Edge is built with all applications installed, optimized and utilizing YottaStor’s Patented Edge Processes. The YottaDrive Edge utilizes advanced cyber security techniques not found in traditional data centers and operates in a connected, disconnected and degraded network environments.

YottaDrive Edge consists of several foundational building blocks; YottaStor Data Fuse, YottaStor Object Engine and YottaStor Analytics.

YottaStor Data Fuse is a data ingestion, transformation and analytics engine. All data is ingested and normalized through a YottaStor Data Fuse interface. Analytics can be run in-line as data is being ingested and normalized. All data is stored via an API interface to the object repository (YottaStor Object Engine).

YottaStor Object Engine is the data repository for all ingested data. YottaStor Object Engine provides a federated global object-based namespace enabling distributed analytics. A key and industry unique capability of YottaStor Object Engine is to maintain the global namespace for disconnected of intermittently connected data ingestion and analytics.

YottaStor Analytics provides additional capabilities above YottaStor Data Fuse’s in line analytics. Each YottaDrive provides a robust infrastructure to run additional analytics, artificial intelligence or machine learning solutions. Hyper-Scale Data

Today’s data are so large that it is becoming impossible for a user to push all their data up to the cloud, so a combination of localized storage/processing at the unit level becomes the preferred solution of Hyper Scale data. YottaDrive Edge has been explicitly developed by YottaStor and its partners for this application.

Flexible Deployment Models

YottaStor’s solutions have been designed to allow for a variety of deployment models. YottaStor’s solutions can be deployed from the data center to the Extreme Edge and everywhere in between. Our systems can be deployed in small mobile containers to 50 foot multi-rack containers. The containers can be EMP hardened, come with their own environmental kit and come fully populated and optimized ready to run. Our systems can be deployed in Airborne platforms, mobile vehicles and shipboard. Purpose built for the mission.

YottaDrive Edge Global Namespace

The YottaDrive Edge creates a global namespace that has the ability to manage hundreds of billions of unique objects at a multi-exabyte storage capacity. Each object has an internally generated unique object ID assigned at ingest. Different, segregated global namespaces can be established for different data types to meet operational requirements. The YottaDrive Edge provides an out-of-the-box REST API access service as well as industry-standard access protocols like SWIFT, S3, CIFS/NFS and Open Geospatial Consortium standards.

YottaStor offers two options to store and analyze data from any YottaDrive Edge device, YottaDrive Cloud and YottaDrive Enterprise. Multiple YottaDrives can be connected together via a high-speed IP spine and leaf network that allows your Edge data to be stored on the YottaDrive Cloud or YottaDrive Enterprise. All connected devices create a single global namespace that can store hundreds of billions of objects and scales to multiple exabytes of capacity.

The YottaDrive Cloud provides an out-of-the-box data durability protection of 99.9995%. If a higher data durability protection scheme is required, the Extreme Data Durability option can provide a 99.999999995% protection factor.
